SM ELECTRIC began 15 years ago as a small monitoring company and now takes responsibility for more than 1,247 power plants. What we do best is not building flashy products, but repeating the same work precisely, in the same place, every single day.
No matter how smart AI becomes, operating a power plant remains a human job. Our own AI platform only lets the operations team see farther and faster — we believe a person must always be the one who takes responsibility.

Founded SM ELECTRIC Co., Ltd.
Established the SM ELECTRIC corporation, inheriting the technology of its predecessor Heesung Tech.
Reached our 3,000th site
Cumulative managed capacity surpassed PV 2GW · ESS 2GWh. Won our first overseas (Vietnam) project.
Launched drone thermal-imaging inspection
Wide-area thermal inspection with our own drones and software. 300+ dispatches per year.
Developed PMS(EMS) in-house
Completed KEPCO grid-interconnection automation. Began integrated management of PV, ESS, and load.
Founded Heesung Tech
Started the PV monitoring solutions business. Signed our first plant-monitoring contract.
